Palermo Street Art
With all that is going on in the world, I’ve been looking at my pictures from a trip to Italy last April and realized I haven’t shared any of them on my blog. Having spent a week in Florence and a week in Palermo, Sicily the lockdown there seems so surreal because the streets are…

Hello!
Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” ― Søren Kierkegaard 2019 has been quite a year for me! It’s been abundant with growth and change and learning. And even though I wasn’t posting pics, I was still out taking them…here is one of my favourites from this year. This is…

Went to Paris for the Seine
It’s been an eventful year, and the other day, I was lamenting the fact that I haven’t taken that many photos this year compared to other years. But, then one of my Paris pictures popped up on my screensaver, and I remembered I WAS THERE in the Spring! And, I took a lot of pictures!…

In Paris….around every corner…
…is something delightful to discover! The Stravinsky Fountain was on my list….and we happened on it accidentally after a wine tasting lunch while walking through the historical Beaubourg District. I love this mural by Jef Aerosol called Chuuutttt! A few days into the trip, after lucking out and just coming upon the Fountain, the guidebook…

Paris in the Spring
Paris is always a good idea. -Audrey Hepburn After two weeks in Paris, it’s back to work and back to the real world. Paris was everything I imagined it would be and more. It sparked my imagination, and I wanted to check off the “study” box on my customs form on the return to Canada…

Sunday Night in Paris
It was a rainy first day in Paris, but the rain made for some pretty picture taking opportunities…this is at the end of the bridge (Pont Saint-Louis) which links the two islands in Paris – Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cite.
