And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been.
-Rainer Maria Rilke
After a really nice, cozy Christmas, it’s now it’s back to the real world! I actually don’t mind January, especially those cold days when the sun is shining, the sky is a brilliant blue, and the snow sparkles. But I’m over winter by February!
Here are a few pics I took over the holiday season with my phone….who doesn’t love a good Christmas lights display?
The best lights display in Battleford – Sparkle Tour on Christmas EveSaskatoon Sparkle Tour on December 27Another great lights display in SaskatoonWascana Park on December 30, the Legislative Building from across the lake…
The Western Development Museum in North Battleford has a nice gift shop….along with an elaborate Christmas Village display…including a winery!
Lady Grey Tea, a shortbread cookie, and my favourite tea cup…it was a cozy Christmas….
And Mom’s homemade donuts on Boxing Day….
Happy New Year to you! Here’s hoping 2017 includes some interesting photo-taking opportunities!!!
