There is much to be sad, troubled, and outraged about what goes on in the world, but there is also much to celebrate, to admire and to find peace and happiness in.  The trick is not to forget that.  That’s why I like photography – it makes me look at my surroundings in a different way and appreciate things like a sunset, clouds, or just nice light.
