The weather in Maui has been unsettled for much of the week, but yesterday was a nice day to be a tourist so we headed to Upcountry Maui to visit Surfing Goat Dairy, Tedeschi Vineyards and Haleakala National Park. It’s a really beautiful, lush area – we could have also visited a vodka distillery, a lavender farm, and botanical gardens, but the drive up to the volcano is a long one and we wanted to take some late afternoon pics there. Lunch at the Ulupalukua Ranch Store and Grill across from the winery was recommended in a guidebook and didn’t disappoint – and has a nice gift shop. I’d be happy to spend more time in this area.
A couple of the surfing goats…
