I hate to admit that even though I’ve lived in Regina for a long time I’ve never been to the Wascana Waterfowl Park – sure I’ve seen geese and ducks and pelicans around Wascana Lake, but the Waterfowl Park is a nice little area I’ve always known about, but just never checked it. Next time bread is required though, as sometimes I wondered if I should get so close without having something to offer the geese and ducks!
I’ve never seen this kind of duck before…I’d say this pelican never worries where its next meal is coming from…
