Saturday Morning Walk

I want to get a lot accomplished today, so an early morning walk (well, stroll is more accurate) seemed like a good idea to start the day.  This early bird thing is not so bad in the summer and there were a lot of friendly “good morning” wishes exchanged on the path in Wascana Park.  Here are some of the sights I saw on my stroll….

I have so many pictures of the geese in Wascana Park so I wasn't too interested in taking more until I saw this white-headed goose.

I've walked by the frog at the U of R College Avenue Campus many times, but I didn't realize all the detail on the sculpture until I walked up to it. But then I freaked out when a mouse scurried out from under it and that made me shriek, but I'm not afraid of squirrels or gophers, so why would I get freaked out by a tiny mouse? That's my deep thought o the day. :)

  1. That looks like a nice stroll you took. I’ve never walked close to that frog before so I didn’t realize it looked like that up close.
