Here comes the sun, here comes the sun, and I say it’s all right….
I’d been lamenting the fact I really don’t have any summer sunrise pictures…I’m more of a night owl than an early bird, so there’s good reason for the lack of sunrise pictures, but sometimes when you have the opportunity, you have to take it. This was at about 5:15 on Monday morning. Not a spectacular sunrise, but since I can watch the sun set regularly from my balcony (like I am now), it was nice to watch the sun rise. Not a bad way to start off the week!

Love that song. I hear it in my head often while commuting to work in the wee hours of the morning (yep – 5’ish…ugh). Sometimes I stop and partake in capturing the lovely and colorful spectacle. I haven’t set out once this summer though to specifically capture a sunrise or sunset. Must do soon. Summer will be gone soon. Love the flare and crop and the way the light is just kissing the side of the barn.
It’s in my top five of favourite songs…summers are fleeting here and after a particularly long winter, I’m trying to be outside as much as possible. Even if that means getting up at 4:15 on a Monday morning!
