Since daisies are my favourite flowers, I was thrilled to see so many wild daisies at Orveas Bay Resort. One morning I spent about an hour with my camera just trying to capture them in different ways. Here’s one…
….and to continue from yesterday’s post, after I thought about what I wrote, I realized a lot of people actually don’t even check luggage anymore when they are flying, they just fit everything into their carry on, so they don’t have to worry about packing emergency undies! I have to admit, I get annoyed by people who spend five minutes trying to jam their questionably sized carry on luggage into the overhead bin and then practically knock someone out when they are trying to un-jam (not sure that’s a word) it from the bin when they are getting off the plane. I like to keep it simple and have small enough carry on that it fits under the seat in front of me so I can just grab and go when the plane lands. That’s my pet peeve about flying, but perhaps I’m just jealous that I tend not to have that simplistic packing attitude when it comes to packing my suitcase and could never fit all my “stuff” in a small carry on sized suitcase!!!

Similarly, I love the idea of just travelling with one carry-on, but as a runner, having to pack running gear doesn’t allow that to happen.
