Temperatures were above freezing here today for the first time in 2014 (at least I think it was the first time this year, it’s been a long winter!) and it was the Family Day holiday, so I spent the afternoon with my camera in my hands (which was also the first time I’ve taken any outdoor pictures this year. It felt good!). I saw a lot of colour today…
But, once, you’re in the city, you’ll find it’s full of life and colour.
Here’s the Dunlop Art Gallery’s Snow Gallery in Victoria Park…
Skating in Victoria Park (today’s event was the Ice and Fire Festival)…
You don’t need to leave the city to go cross-country skiing…
Here’s the playground at the Saskatchewan Science Centre…
So, yes, it’s flat here, and it’s cold in the winter, but there’s lots of colour here, too.
Having recently visited Sask and doing a post I concur there is beauty to be found. You have done that.
