A Colourful Day in Regina

Temperatures were above freezing here today for the first time in 2014 (at least I think it was the first time this year, it’s been a long winter!) and it was the Family Day holiday, so I spent the afternoon with my camera in my hands (which was also the first time I’ve taken any outdoor pictures this year. It felt good!).  I saw a lot of colour today…

Yup, when people think of Saskatchewan, this is what they think of. Of course, there's much more to our province, but this is a view of Regina from just south of the airport.

But, once, you’re in the city, you’ll find it’s full of life and colour.

You don’t need to leave the city to go cross-country skiing…

So, yes, it’s flat here, and it’s cold in the winter, but there’s lots of colour here, too.
