Harlequin Duck
Just a quick post today…this is a male Harlequin Duck in one of the inlets we visited in the Great Bear Rainforest. We saw Harlequins quite frequently when we were traveling through estuaries in the zodiac, but it was difficult to get a decent picture. I took this one from quite far away. They fly quite close to the water and I tried to capture that, but it didn’t work it. A reason to go back, perhaps?!
