What caught my eye this week

I took my camera out of my purse quite often this week…here’s a smattering of what caught my eye…

  • remnants of rain

    remnants of rain

Pretty crystals everywhere after the rain the other day…I don’t think it’s ever been as lush and green here as it is now…

    Going, going, gone…

Watching the sunset over the North Saskatchewan River from the Battleford Bridge, late June.  Just might have become one of my favourite spots in Saskatchewan to watch the setting sun. Lucky for me, I know some people who live close by!

Waskesiu Lake sunset at Prince Albert National Park….my favourite part of camping in the park was listening to the sounds of loons calling in the distance.  If you look at this picture long enough, you just might be able to hear their distinctive and haunting song. or just create your own…. I still gush about New Orleans to anyone who asks (and some who don’t), but there is just so much to explore in the city.  If you find yourself in New Orleans, and want a (quiet) break from the action in the French Quarter, check out at the sculpture garden…

    sunny days

We are in the midst of a spring heatwave here…so, after soaking up the sun, it’s nice to just hang out in the shade, too…
