Palermo Street Art

, ,

With all that is going on in the world, I’ve been looking at my pictures from a trip to Italy last April and realized I haven’t shared any of them on my blog. Having spent a week in Florence and a week in Palermo, Sicily the lockdown there seems so surreal because the streets are so full of life, activity, and art. When you travel, the world becomes a much smaller place because you have a personal connection to the places you see and read about in the news. Hopefully, by being proactive now, things will return to normal sooner rather than later.

Palermo, in particular, is a wonderful city to photograph. I love taking pictures of street art and graffiti, and it seemed like practically every street presented a new delight! Here’s my collection of Palermo street art….
