Going for it! This squirrel is on a mission….

I may have to take back my last post about not liking November, or qualify it with “I usually don’t like November” because the last few days have been unusually warm here.  This squirrel entertained me this afternoon while I was sitting outside drinking coffee…here’s the run up to the leap…

And the reason for the leap….just a friendly “hello”. But, at this point my friendly squirrel was about a foot away and may have elicited a shriek from me, as it appeared ready to leap again…on me!!

After some busy weeks at work, it was nice to just outside and be entertained (and to take some pictures). I haven’t had a camera out much lately and missed the whole taking pretty pictures of fall leaves opportunity.  This weekend made up for it as there was a beautiful sunset on Friday night that I photographed from my balcony – I’ll post pictures later in the week.
