If you’ve read my blog for awhile you’ll know I have a soft spot for bears (while at the time being deathly afraid of them).  Of the bear pictures I’ve taken this one is my favourite just because I love the expression of innocence.  He wasn’t scared or aggressive with us as we watched from a safe distance, and while I wouldn’t have wanted to get closer, I certainly didn’t feel scared of him.

“When you are where wild bears live
you learn to pay attention to the rhythm of the land and yourself. Bears not only make the habitat rich, they enrich us just by being.”
