It’s still cold here.  I’ve gone out and about taking pictures in the cold a few times, but I’m not really inspired at the moment.  So, I’m back to looking through my photo library and at this time of year, my pics from Maui are the ones that stand out.  These are all from Kaanapali Beach at the Royal Lahaina Resort.  It’s a beautiful beach.  One of my favourite memories about that trip was every night at about 10 o’clock we’d walk down to the beach and sit on the sand and look up at the stars and listen to the ocean.  There rarely was anyone else on the beach at that time of night, and I feel like all the people who were visiting there, and didn’t do that, were missing out. It was very peaceful.

Because of the time difference, it felt like we were sleeping in until 11am, but we were really getting up at 7, so we’d get up and go for a walk around the golf course or on the beach.  I would love to go back to Maui someday.
