I also just finished doing a case study in my Career Transition Consulting class about coaching a newly college graduated, shy, introverted young woman to find her dream job. She was very nervous about fitting in at work. Once I set up my coaching practice, quiet leadership and helping introverts thrive in the workplace will be part of my offerings. When my website is up, I’ll also share articles and tips. So, for all my fellow introverted souls out there, how do you fit in at work? What would you like your more extroverted co-workers to know about you? What would you like your boss to know about you? If you chose a job or career that is not “behind the scenes” and requires you to be more outgoing, did you know that going in? Do you feel like you have to be someone you aren’t or have you learned some tips and tricks for how to cope, and even thrive? Or would you actually like to change jobs?
