I’ve been experimenting in Photoshop lately, and these photos are the ones I’m willing to share…so far! These are from a walk around Wascana Park in early October where the reward at the end of the walk was a beautiful sky at sunset.
I’m back to posting pics from my trip to the Great Bear Rainforest off the coast of Northern British Columbia. This was my favourite morning of the trip (and actually the last morning of the trip as we were heading back to Hartley Bay to catch the seaplane back to Prince Rupert and then on to Vancouver the next day). It was a spectacularly beautiful morning on the water and the view gave me goosebumps. It was like being in another world. I’ll post more pics from that morning, but this is definitely one of my favourites.
These are mostly pictures I took this morning. I went for a walk, not really planning what I wanted to take pictures of and found a tree with brilliant red leaves. That inspired me to try to get enough pictures to do a “colours of fall” post. When you really look at your surroundings, beauty can be found all around.
I posted a picture of two perfect robin’s eggs a few weeks ago taken in my parents’ backyard. They were so perfect that I may have accused my mom of planting two plastic eggs there as a bit of a joke. We went camping for a week and when we came back, there were three eggs! I planned to take a picture the next morning of the three eggs and when I checked there were four! It took me about twenty minutes to get a picture of the mother as I didn’t want to scare her off. Two of the eggs have now hatched, but I’m not there to try to get a picture and the ones my dad tried to take didn’t turn out. It really is a gorgeous colour.
